What is Reiki?
Reiki is a subtle and effective form of energywork using guided life force energy to help ease tension and stress and helps support the body to facilitate an environment of physical, mental and emotional healing. Although it is believed to have Tibetan origins, Mikao Usui is credited with rediscovering the system we now call Reiki. While an exact translation is difficult, the Japanese word Reiki consists of (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy.”
